■ Can we measure friendship?

Of course not. Yet, social networks really push us toward that idea. How many friends here, how many «likes» and/or «followers» on this other platform? Everything seems measurable.

What is a friend and who are they around you? The book presents some figures, but also a warm text on what friendship is. A friend is someone who agrees to accompany you to a boring event, etc.

It is a perfect book to give as a gift to your friends to tell them that you really love them and that they are important to you.

The format is inspired by the Alba Amicorum, a friendship books from the 16th century.

I gave myself a little bit of a challenge in designing my last books. The structure of this book is a slightly peculiar. It holds only by folds and strips of paper, no glue or thread. It’s more time-consuming to do and more fragile to manipulate, but it’s a very interesting concept.

The book has 24 pages and is printed in black and white. Its format is 5,5" x 4". The papers and colors can vary.
